International & Multilingual SEO
One site, several languages, correct hreflang — the exact discipline this agency runs on its own bilingual site. Check it yourself before you take our word for it.
€950.00/month · excl. 19% VAT
Who it’s for
- DACH businesses expanding into new language markets
- International companies entering the DACH market who need more than a translated homepage
- Sites with existing multilingual pages that are quietly cannibalising or duplicating each other
- Anyone whose "localisation" so far has been a translation plugin and a prayer
What’s included
Hreflang & locale architecture audit
Every locale’s tags checked against Google’s actual implementation requirements, not just validated by a tool
Locale-specific content strategy
Content built per market, not translated word-for-word from one source language
Duplicate/cannibalisation cleanup
Locale pages competing against each other for the same query, identified and resolved
International technical setup
URL structure, geotargeting signals and Search Console international properties configured correctly
Monthly per-locale report
Rankings and visibility tracked separately by market, not blended into one number

[ WHAT YOU ACTUALLY GET ]
What you actually get — and what we don’t do.
Every retainer includes a written scope, a fixed reporting cadence, and the actual tools we run it on — Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and an AI-visibility tracking tool, named here because a badge wall doesn’t tell you anything a tool name doesn’t. Retainers run on a 3-month minimum term, then cancel monthly — stated here, before checkout, not in a contract you read after signing.
What we don’t do: guarantee a ranking position (nobody honestly can), buy links from a link farm, or send you a PDF you can’t act on. If a tactic isn’t something we’d explain to you in plain German or English, we don’t run it.
[ AI SEARCH ]
How this feeds your AI-search visibility.
Classic SEO and AI-search visibility aren’t two separate disciplines — Google’s AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity draw on the same crawlable, well-structured, authoritative signals that this service improves. Better technical health, clearer content, or more earned mentions all make it more likely an AI engine finds and cites you, not just that you rank. If AI-search visibility is the main goal, not a side effect, see AI Search Visibility (GEO/AEO) — our dedicated, priced service for measuring and improving exactly that.
See AI Search Visibility →Frequently asked questions
Can we really check your own hreflang setup?
Yes — seomarketingtactics.com runs at "/" for English and "/de/" for German, with reciprocal hreflang tags on every page. View source or your favourite SEO extension will show it directly; that’s a deliberate choice, not a coincidence.
We already have a translated site — what’s actually wrong with that?
Usually nothing you can see, and everything Google can. Bad hreflang, duplicate content across locales, or a translated-but-not-localised page can quietly cannibalise your own rankings for years without an obvious symptom.
Do you write content in every language yourselves?
We write and review German and English natively. Other languages are scoped with a named, vetted native-language partner, briefed by us to the same locale-specific standard — never a raw machine translation passed off as final copy.
How many locales can this realistically cover?
Essential covers 2, Advanced covers 4. More than 4 is scoped as a custom, "Enquire" engagement rather than forced into a fixed tier.
Does this replace our existing Technical SEO retainer?
No — it builds on it. International SEO assumes the technical foundation is already sound; if it isn’t, we’d recommend starting with Technical SEO & Core Web Vitals first.
